  • Wireless Load Pin

    Wireless Force Sensors provide high-performance wireless telemetry solutions aimed at applications where wired installation may be difficult, cost prohibitive, or undesirable. They provide long battery life along with high measurement accuracy, resolution, and stability. They provide a means to either convert existing wired designs to wireless or for the development of new wireless system designs. Software tools are included for quick and convenient interfacing with device configuration, calibration, datalogging, and recording.

  • Load Pin

    Load Pins provide simple replacement for existing shear pins, clevis pins, shackle pins, shear axles or other types of pinned joints.

    Load Pins are made of High Strength Stainless Steel and provide precision measurement of applied radial shear forces at both ends of a clevis eye, rod eye, or shackle opening.
    Strain gages installations are bonded and sealed deep inside a small hole along the longitudinal axis allowing for immunity to harsh environments.
    Proper alignment using anti-rotation devices, allow for direct force measurement.

    Force Sensing Bolts and Studs are fasteners that provide precise clamping force measurement to within an accuracy of 1%, where typical methods can be worse than 20%! Force Sensing Bolts and Studs are available in many configurations including; hex head, 12- point, or other types of custom/unique bolts.

  • Tension Link Pivot

    Tension Links provide precise measurement of tensile force. The sensing element consists of a strain gage bridge circuit internally installed in a small hole along the longitudinal axis. This unique arrangement provides a most effective means for the protection and sealing of the internal electronics while minimizing the adverse effects of extraneous torsional and bending loads.
    They are simple to add to designs due to a variety of hardware interface options, such as threaded ends or shackle lug ends either in-line or with 90 degree pivot.

  • Instrument

    Strainsert offers a variety of Instrumentation options for building complete and custom force measurement solutions. Instrumentation options include simple displays, summing junctions, analog signal conditioning (0 to 10 VDC, 4 to 20 mA, etc.), industry standard digital interfaces (RS-232, RS-485, CAN, USB, etc.), and wireless telemetry. Other typical options include relay control and peak hold. Instrumentation sourcing includes Strainsert in-house, 3rd party, or customer specified.
